Swim In Salt

Flash & Jo started Swim In Salt with Tom Storms and performed some of the songs that ended up on What’s Not To Like (About That) at one show in 2015. Tom went on to do his own thing and Flash & Jo met Christian Walker and auditioned guitarists and drummers, not really getting much traction putting a band together. Early in 2017 Flash contacted Ed Woltil (guitar & back up vocals) about joining Swim In Salt. He felt he could fit this in amongst his three other musical projects he was involved in and he brought along Dan DeGregory to play drums. In April 2017, this group started rehearsing and took the songs to Zen Recording in Pinellas to work with Steve Connelly to record the debut album. Steve contributed guitars to a few songs and What’s Not To Like (About That) was released August 1, 2017. Flash (& Jo) continue to Swim In Salt and at the end of 2022 a young man named Leo Garcia came into the picture and created the brand new single ‘That Isn’t Me’ writing the music for Flash’s words. Leo Garcia literally disappeared after a couple promising rehearsals with Wayne Robinson on bass and backing vocals and Gonzalo Ovelar on drums. Matt Burke was enlisted to fill the piano exceptionally and again Steve Connelly contributed guitar to the latest track. There will be more music by Swim In Salt in the near future.
